Ponta Delgada Airport Terminal

João Paulo II Airport or Ponta Delgada Airport is the main international gateway to Azores archipelago in Portugal.

It serves domestic flights to Azores and Madeira archipelagos and Portugal mainland, and international ones to Europe and North America.

Ponta Delgada Airport formed by a single passenger terminal.

Levels

Ponta Delgada Airport passenger terminal consists in two levels, distributed as follows:

Ground level

The ground level is split into the Arrivals, which is located in the left side, and the Departures and check-in area, located in the right side of the level.

Within the Arrivals you can find the following services: Baggage claim area, passport control, ATMs, information desk, lost & found, customs, post office, car rental booths, Servisair and taxi stand.

Regarding Departures and check-in area, it is home of ATMs, oversized baggage, security control, food and drink shops, baby care rooms and an airport lounge. Also access to departure gates 1 to 10 is granted.

First level

The upper level just hosts both family restrooms and a restaurant.
